This fresh hop IPA is brewed in collaboration with Loza Farms & Cold Stream Malt & Grain Co. for a fully Washington-grown, Wet Hop Experience!
Loza Farms is the only Hispanic-owned hop farm in the Yakima Valley and produces some of the finest hops in the Wapato growing region. For this beer we used wet, un-kilned Citra & Comet from their farm, within a few hours of picking in the field. The depth of that characteristic wet hop flavor stays true in the beer.
Cold Stream Malt & Grain provided the Washington-grown Genie barley malt for this batch, grown by Horlacher Farms & Clearwater Farms. Washington barley is a treat to use and we want to promote the use of its use further in the Washington brewery community to help support agriculture in our region, while reducing the environmental impact of shipping malts.
